Mint sweeps and mops hard surface floors automatically, using popular dry and pre-moistened disposable cleaning cloths or re-usable microfiber cleaning cloths (included). Dry sweeping mode is ideal for picking up dust, dirt and hair. And Mint's special mopping motion gets deeper dirt and grime off your floors. Guided by the North Star Navigation System, Mint tracks where it cleans so it doesn't miss a spot. Mint starts by cleaning open areas, moving methodically back and forth across the floor. Mint detects and cleans around furniture and other obstacles as it encounters them. Mint then follows with a perimeter sweep along the edges of furniture and baseboards, then returns to where it started and parks itself. Smart sensors help Mint avoid area rugs and raised carpet transitions, detect areas that are too low to enter and avoid falling down stairs.

Got it three days ago and after running it a few times I have yet to see a dog hair tumbleweed on my hardwood floors! All I have to do is pick up the rugs, turn the thing on and let it go. It Swiffer sweeps my floors and they look great! I plan on running this once a day to stay on top of things. I only wish the mopping feature worked better. My hardwood area is too large, and the Mint is so thorough, the pads dry out before it even does a fourth of the floor. It's faster for me to just mop myself. A+ for Swiffer sweeping C- on mopping.As for buying Refurbished I am very impressed. The packaging was just like retail... As a matter of fact, the packaging was very similar to the type of packaging I expect from an Apple product (my benchmark for packages). Nice packaging like this always impresses me as it shows thought was put into all aspects of the product. The Mint itself looked brand new. If there were not a tiny sticker on the box... Read more |
