Which one you get depends on your needs.If you already have irobots and your current model already serves your purpose, you may not need to rush out and get the update. Anything over the 560s to 580s are already quite good. But if you have some niggly concerns with your current Roomba in terms of its performance, then I would encourage you to take a serious look at the 700s. The main differences between the 500 series and the 700 series is this, the Roomba 700s have: 1) a larger better designed bin "Aero Vac 2" - which does not spill 2) Hepa filters meaning you get cleaner air vented out - essential for sensitive noses 3) better designed brushes which is more robust, easier to clean and allows for more efficient suction 4) better casing...
