iRobot 530 Roomba Vacuuming Robot, Rust Details
Product Description
With dramatically improved navigation, cleaning coverage, vacuum pickup, and particle filtration, the Roomba 530 vacuuming robot picks up amazing amounts of dirt and debris with the simple touch of a button. The powerful unit features innovative spinning side brushes that grab dirt and dust from corners and along wall edges, as well as two high-speed, counter-rotating brushes that pick up pet hair, cat litter, food crumbs, and other debris from floors. The vacuum sucks up the debris and deposits it into a large, easy-to-empty bagless dustbin, and its improved fine-filtration system traps dust, pollen, and other allergens inside the unit, reducing infiltration into the living environment. For added convenience, the vacuum's cleaning head automatically adjusts to transition from wood, tile, and linoleum to carpets and rugs, while improved anti-tangle technology ensures it won't get stuck on cords and rug fringe A gentle-touch bumper system senses obstacles so the vacuum automatically slows its approach, gently touches the obstacle, then redirects to continue cleaning under or around the object. Because it cleans under beds, couches, and other hard-to-reach areas, it actually vacuums more of the floor than a standard upright can. The vacuum also senses dirtier areas and spends more time cleaning them, and it uses built-in cliff sensors to avoid stairs and other drop-offs. Its advanced power system consists of a fast-charging battery, a three-hour charger, and a power source that supercharges the unit for up to 120 minutes of continuous cleaning, covering about three to four average-size rooms on a single charge. Other accessories include two Virtual Walls (that require two D batteries each), a brush cleaning tool, and an extra filter. The vacuuming robot measures 16-3/4 by 21 by 5 inches and carries a one-year limited warranty.

iRobot 530 Roomba Vacuuming Robot, Rust Reviews
2 of 2 people found the following review helpful Can't live without it, This review is from: iRobot 530 Roomba Vacuuming Robot, Rust (Misc.) We have a long-haired cat and shiny hardwood floors, so dustbunnies proliferate without frequent cleaning. This is our 3rd Roomba in 8 years. The 500 series is just perfect for us -- it's a good value for the price, cleans very well and doesn't get tangled in electric cords. The robots usually work only a couple of years without any trouble, so if you can get a 3-year warranty, it's probably worth it. Our last Roomba 510 lasted for 3.5+ years with one repair, which was covered by the warranty. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful I was skeptical, but it really works well!, By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: iRobot 530 Roomba Vacuuming Robot, Rust (Misc.) The Roomba 530 is a great invention that makes it fun to keep the house clean! The Roomba is quite a bit larger and heavier than I imaged it would be. It's about 1 foot in diameter, and weighs a decent amount. Construction quality is high. It feels well made, and all the materials are high quality. The rust colored trim on the top adds some pizzazz. Included with the Roomba is the self docking charging base, two virtual walls, an extra filter, and a brush cleaning tool. The 530 is very simple to use and has only three buttons on the top plate. First is the clean button, this is the one you'll use when you want the Roomba to do its thing and clean the house automatically. The second is the spot button, this is for when you want the Roomba to stay in one area (3' in diameter) and clean it extra thoroughly. Lastly, there is the dock button. This is used to stop a clean cycle and send the Roomba back to its charging base. There are also two indicator lights... I LOVED my first and used it DAILY for about 2 years before it stopped working. Bought this one on Lightning Deal. It does alright on my hardwood floors but it stops working within seconds of getting on my small area rugs. This one will also fall of the edge of steps- something the old model never did. I see all the great reviews and have to wonder if I got a reject... |
