I waited for the 500 series, and I was not disappointed. It works right out of the box, and is simple to use and clean. Definitely worth the price. I like it for both my wood floors and my carpets! I've owned it now for more than 6 months, and it has not given me a problem.

This is my fourth one, and this one has a better dirt holder and seems to be stronger.
The only thing I do NOT like is NO HANDLE like the older models
